Zāle Design is located in the unceded Coast Salish territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and səl̓ilwətaɁɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) First Nations, in the area known as Vancouver, BC. We recognize that on-going work to decolonize our landscapes and our landscape architectural practices is vital in creating truly healthy spaces.

Kristina Zālite

Landscape Architect MBCSLA

Over the span of more than 15 years, I have provided excellent design, details, and related documents with Nunavut Territorial Parks DepartmentZeidler Partnership Architects, Jonathan Losee Ltd, Prospect & Refuge Landscape Architects, and my sole proprietorship, Zāle Design.

Zāle Design landscapes are built to naturally buffer environmental stressors, while elevating inclusive and accessible design principles. The local Coastal Western Hemlock biogeoclimatic forest ecosystems are a constant source of my firm's inspiration.

With my trusted network of collaborators and consultants, we create landscapes for schools, homeowners, places of worship, municipalities and other valued clients.
